The Sorama CAM iV64s acoustic camera tackles 
this problem head-on with real-time ultrasonic 
leak detection.

Unmatched frequency range

With the wide frequency range of the Sorama CAM iV64s, you can capture ultrasonic sounds, from as low as 10Hz up to an incredible 120kHz. This vast range means no leak goes undetected. The Sorama CAM iV64s translates these frequencies into visible, color-coded heatmaps on your screen, allowing you to locate issues immediately, despite the noisy surroundings.

Fine-Tuned frequency resolution

The 29Hz fine frequency resolution of the Sorama CAM iV64s enables you to identify even the smallest variations in sound. This high-resolution capability pinpoints leaks with extreme accuracy, so you can repair exactly what’s needed without disruption.

Advanced beamforming (far-field)

The Sorama CAM iV64s beamforming covers a range from 2kHz to 120kHz. This camera detects leaks from a safe distance and maps sound precisely onto your display. By capturing and directing sound from far distances, it provides a clear visualization of the problem without needing close physical access—keeping your team safe. 

Wide operating distance

The Sorama CAM iV64s has an impressive operating range of 0.3 meters to 120 meters, making it suitable for inspecting a small, confined area or monitoring an expansive site from a distance. Maintenance teams can quickly scan from various distances, identifying leaks without needing extensive equipment repositioning or multiple devices.

Smart battery and connectivity

The Sorama CAM iV64s is equipped with two interchangeable smart batteries, each for up to four hours of field use, it will cover a full day of work without any delays. The camera offers USB-C and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy file transfer, along with video capture, so each leak can be documented and reported to the maintenance and repair team promptly.

The software-based inspection system Valve Sense is developed together with our strategic partner i.safe MOBILE – the market and innovation leader for explosion-proof and industrial mobile devices.
It builds on the well established method of acoustic emission. The digital solution combines high-quality acoustic emission sensors with innovative smartphones for Ex and non-Ex areas which are equipped with the Senseven software. The VPAC™II is an acoustic emission instrument based on over 10 years of research.  The VPAC™II can estimate the quantity of material leaking through the valve using the accompanying proprietary software. With hundreds of systems currently in use, the VPAC™II is the instrument of choice for through valve leak detection.

The user interface is simple and intuitive, and the unit retains all settings even when powered down. The instrument is powered by four rechargeable AA batteries which will last several weeks in typical use. Battery replacement and charging is quick and easy, so downtime is minimized.
